Dr. Montalto serves as the Medical Director at Associates in Women's Health Care as well as Director of our Diagnostic Center. He has been practicing as a physician since 1969. Dr. Montalto completed his bachelor's degree at St. John's University in New York and his doctorate in medicine at New York Medical College. He completed his residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York in 1969. He has been practicing in Tucson since 1991.
Sonograms are done when medically indicated (to assist us in determining your due date, to check on the growth of the baby, to assess bleeding, to survey the baby and placenta, etc). Although we don’t feel they present any risk these tests are ordered for medical reasons and we feel they are necessary.
Ultrasounds and sonograms are performed at our Diagnostic Center.
